‘They would do anything to get paid,’ Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar claims feminists faked the audio

Recently, a leaked audioclip of writer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar and a married woman took the internet by storm. The recorded audio went viral on the internet as the two were heard having a private conversation. In the conversation, the Mere Pass Tum Ho writer and the woman were planning to meet. However, the woman claimed she couldn’t meet him due to her husband.

Khalil-Ur-Rehman is a controversial figure. He often lands in hot waters for his harsh remarks and so the leaked audio brought a lot of backlash with it. People called out Qamar for allegedly having an affair with a woman who is already married. The writer has finally broken silence over the matter.

According to the writer, this is a planned propoganda against him by the feminists. In his statement, he said that he would only address the on-going controversy once as he doesn’t ‘offer explanations.’

‘When I previously had issues with feminists, I came to know there are some serious issues that are going on which need to be addressed,’ he said. Khalil-Ur-Rehman commented that the feminists had ‘two’ ways to go about it. ‘They would have a conversation with me about the problems, they couldn’t converse in a civilised manner. So the next thing they do is abuse,’ he added.

The Punjab Nahi Jaungi writer feminists are a paid group and they would do anything for their ‘job.’ Hence, he claimed that they would do anything to get paid and so they are coming up with such ‘tactics.’

‘They planted programmes and tried to insult me. It affected me and my family since I was never the one to birth controversies,’ he said further.

The writer stated that multiple people warned him not to call people on the phone as the calls might get ‘leaked’ but he never cared and still doesn’t. He also said that it was an old audio which was leaked three years ago but is getting new hype now.

‘The feminists would never be able to win any argument with me which is why they resorted to character assassination. I know who has made this ‘fake’ call,’ he further stated. Khalil said that he would keep talking to other women but he wouldn’t like to be linked with ‘married’ women.

Qamar also admitted that the voice on the call was surely his own but he doesn’t remember who the other person was. ‘It could be a makeup artist, they have numerous issues,’ he claimed.

‘Make all the calls viral if you want to, but don’t pair me with a married woman. I have many women coming to me – married and umarried. Who is this married woman who is yet to reach me?’ he concluded.
